If you want to insert a ‘last updated’ or ‘last modified’ date on your wordpress page, then there is a simple bit of PHP code you can use for this:
<?php the_modified_time('F jS, Y');?>And via Ardamis’s Blog, there is a great way to only display this information if it has been modified after the original post date. This is a good way to let people know if there have been updates since the original post:

пока все складывается в пользу ASUS EeePC 901 — и наиболее оптимальная конфигурация, и Mac OS X, и Register Editor’s Choice даже.
проблема, однако, в другом: это, во-первых, совершенно ужасный дизайн (ASUS-style, ага), и, во-вторых, клавиатура — нет, она терпимая, разумеется, и даже клавиш больше, чем у моего beloved Psion netBook, но все равно хуже, чем у других.
а Lenovo S10, кстати, совершенно беспардонно греется. и Linux machine у них больше в интернете не купить (а кто-то еще покупает в обычных магазинах?).

наверное, если у каждого человека и существует какой-то свой, личный топ-10 произведений мирового кинематографа, то, полагаю, состоять он всякий раз должен только из фильмов Ингмара Бергмана.
возможно, его работы и в самом деле нелегко пересматривать, к ним зачастую очень тяжело возвращаться, но зато в них есть все, и ничто не остается за кадром.

и чтобы не ходить два раза — вот еще три почтовых обновления. из которых особенно хорошо следующее:
“Quote selected text” changes Gmail’s replying behavior and it lets you include a selection from the original message. This is especially helpful when you reply to long messages from people who don’t use Gmail. Your reply will only include the necessary context, not the entire message.
This experimental feature works only when you use the keyboard shortcut for replying (r), not when you click on “Reply”.
в прошлой жизни, еще до Gmail пользовался этим без устали. так что еще один плюс в копилку.

во-первых, Gmail Labs сегодня избавили меня от еще одной дополнительности, включив эксперементальную функцию быстрого переключения лейблов:
“Go to label” adds a keyboard shortcut for selecting a label. Gmail already has shortcuts for navigating to the inbox (g+i), drafts (g+d), starred messages (g+s), but you can now type g followed by l to get a box that lets you enter the name of a label. In most cases, you only need to type the first letters of the label and then press Enter.
добавлю разве, что совсем не обязательно именно первые буквы, — наоборот, в отличии от Modified Gmail Macros здесь достаточно ввести любое буквосочетание, что весьма удобно, когда лейблы начинаются каким-нибудь символом.
а во-вторых, появилась адаптация Greasemonkey для Chrome, которая имено для таких дополнительностей и придумана.
ну да, жизнь не стоит на месте, эгегей. жаль только, что собрать Chrome под Mac OS X у меня все равно не получится (V8 does not currently support PowerPC).

Two days ago in San Diego, Plastic Logic wowed DEMOfall 08 attendees with its full-page electronic reader that was as thin as a pad of paper. Available next year, this reader can easily display Microsoft Office, PDF and other documents. It also has a touch-screen that lets users annotate documents by either drawing with their fingers or by tapping on a pop-up keyboard.
Announced official with 8.5 x 11-inch display with gesture-based user interface.
