The large Eee is also the first home of ASUS’ new FingerGlide technology, according to the company. Confirming an FCC filing, the company says all Eee PC 900s will support basic multi-touch gestures on their trackpads, including a pinch motion to resize images and two-finger scrolling. The addition makes ASUS only the second company after Apple to offer these features in a notebook.
а во-вторых, несмотря на озвученное в обзоре правильное сравнение 900-го с моим beloved Psion netBook, совершенно удручающе выглядит способность первого к автономной работе:
Asus quotes 2.5-hours battery life for this machine, but I barely got two hours out of it, although to be fair I had the screen on full brightness and wireless running.
вот и получается, как всегда, что либо одно, либо другое. а нормального и в самом деле портативного рабочего места как не было, так и нет.
