Jackie Cogan: My friend, Thomas Jefferson is an American saint because he wrote the words ‘All men are created equal’, words he clearly didn’t believe since he allowed his own children to live in slavery. He’s a rich white snob who’s sick of paying taxes to the Brits. So, yeah, he writes some lovely words and aroused the rabble and they went and died for those words while he sat back and drank his wine and fucked his slave girl. This guy wants to tell me we’re living in a community? Don’t make me laugh. I’m living in America, and in America you’re on your own. America’s not a country. It’s just a business. Now fuckin’ pay me.

Security researchers say they have discovered a huge botnet running on the smartphones of more than a million unsuspecting mobile users in China.

The botnet has spread across phones running the Android operating system via Android.Troj.mdk, a Trojan that researchers said exists in upwards of 7,000 applications available in the Google Play marketplace, including the popular Temple Run and Fishing Joy games.

Amazon is launching an HTML MP3 web store that’s made for Apple devices: the iPhone and iPod touch. It will also run smoothly on the iPhone’s default browser, Safari.
Amazon’s store will offer 22 million songs. When a purchase is made, it will be transferred to an Amazon Cloud Player account, and accessible via desktop, mobile apps, and Kindle Fire.

I have referred to Woody Allen in the past as Albert Camus, as a comedian. Camus said “I don’t want to die. I don’t want anyone I love to die. I will die, and everyone I love will die. Therefore, life is absurd.” And Woody believes that. But he’s able to weave in humor. Now, I think it probably does make it a bit more palatable. But I would want to ask him, if life really is absurd and horrible and brutal, why are we laughing?
